blocking big doorways? tips?

Are there any gates long enough for this? We have an open type floor plan, with big openings between our kitchen, living room, and dining area. I want to keep her in my living room, but the opening is probably 10 feet long. Any other ideas?

    I would google pet gates. They tend to have more variety that way. We've gotten a gate for our large opening that way.?

    We have a pretty large opening that we have gated off (we also have an open floor plan.)  We got the Dream Baby gate, which comes with 2 extensions and then added 2 more extensions to it (the maximum you can add, I believe.)  Works great.

    They have kinds that are sort of like a window blind turned sideways - fabric/plastic rolls out from one side to clip on to the other side, and the two sides can be pretty far apart.
