has anyone heard anything about them (good or bad)? They are company in which you can work from home. It seems legitimate. Not quite sure what they do though.
Alpine is a great company. They hire you to work from home for another company. All of the interview process is done over the phone and fit you with a company based on your personality. I have a friend who was approached by Alpine do be a director. She declined as she is retiring soon. I was telling her that I would like to be a SAHM but can't afford to quit my call center job. She recommended Alpine because she was so impressed. You can google them to see the different news article and tv shows that have done stories on them.
I worked for them for two years on their GE Money Bank line for Dillard's and Lowe's consumer credit cards. I worked my way up and was making some good money before I left after DD#2. I even was on insurance with them (covered if I worked more than 25 hours, so I worked exactly 25 LOL) and it covered DD#2 L&D. I've worked in call centers before, though, so I knew what to expect and enjoyed it. You can't work while you have your baby around, its all customer service calls. So I just worked when DH got home from work for a few hours. But when I became a coach I was able to have them around and work during the day, too, it was PERFECT but took a year to get to that point.
