How do I stop ds's diarrhea?

My poor baby is sick on Thanksgiving! He's had a fever (now gone), vomiting (now gone) and now diarrhea. It's so bad that as soon as he goes it runs everywhere and gets all over his clothes, the floor and us when we pick him up. I feel terrible for him! Any way to make it stop?

I don't know about getting it to stop, but we are in the same situation.  No fever.  We had vomiting, now gone.  Now it's just the diarrha.  So far, we are just giving him some pedialyte and trying to get a little formula in him, so that he doesn't get dehydrated.  I hope your LO feels better soon!

BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast) or any of those items that your DS eats at this point.

I'm so sorry about the diarrhea.  See if you can find Happy Bellies Rice Cereal -- It's by the same makers of Happy Baby foods.  It contains probiotics, which as you probably know, help to balance the good/bad bacteria.  DS had diarrhea for over 4 weeks.  I don't know if it was the Happy Bellies or if the diarrhea just subsided on its own, but it helped.  We still give it to him to help his tummy.  His poops are less stinky since we started him on it, too!  GL to you!

FWIW, the only place I can find this is at Whole Foods...but maybe there's a similar store near you?

We've had the exact same problem minus the fever.  I called the Dr. today and said it was the final stage of the stomach bug she had on Monday.  He said NO JUICE.  Just pedialyte and formula and the best thing solid to eat to help with the diarrhea is yogurt with live and active cultures.   WebMD says the same thing.  She was screaming because of it today and one container of yogurt and she was fine the rest of the night.

Aw, Manners, I feel so bad for you and for him. I've got no helpful info as far as making him feel better, but I just want to give him a cuddle.
