They are awful.  They can't stop whining, have torn my house to bits, bit DD twice, kicked her in the face, ripped the head off her favorite doll and said a million times, "I'm bored."  It doesn't look like they've had a bath in weeks and when they said they wanted to kick the cat since she hissed at them their dad thought it was funny.  WTF who thinks this is appropriate behavior!  And, they are only 5, 3, and 2 AND we're stuck with them for 3 more days because they drove here.  Kill me now.

That's where I issue the smackdown. I don't tolerate behavior like that. If thier parents refuse to discipline them, then I will.

The 'teacher voice' works on little kids, too.

Um, wow.  Who are their parents? Your dh's side? If they are staying for an extended visit, I would have to talk to the parents.  That just doesn't fly.

On another note, how friggin adorable are your kids?! Keep then away from those monsters! they are too sweet

It's DH's sister and her husband.  Thankfully DH is just as annoyedand going to talk to his sister because I'm such a wimp with confrontation that I've been trying to be nice.  The second bite was the final straw for me.  Honestly they are little devils.
