NPR: stomach flu & massive headache?

Yep, those would be 2 things I'm not thankful for at Thanksgiving time....  I've been sick most of the day & the last time I threw up was about 3:30.  I've slowly started doing crackers/ginger ale which is so far okay.  My question is related to the massive headache that I have.  I tried to sleep but just can't- will Tylenol totally mess w/ my system & start me puking again??  Or do you think it's safe?

Sorry you're feeling so crappy!  No advice re: Tylenol, but you're likely dehydrated, which can cause awful headaches.  If you can, getting a little more water in your system (a bit at a time) might help the headache, even w/o meds.  If you're able to keep the water down for awhile, I might be brave and take one Tylenol, wait then take another if the "coast is clear" so to speak.  Stomach bugs always seem like trial and error for me re: finding out when it's "safe" to start eating/drinking again.
