Again about moles...

Have you ever had a whole body check of moles? I know I have some odd shaped ones but I'm not sure how to go about this...

Well, yes and it was one of my most embarrassing moments ever.

 

After I had a huge mole removed I went to my 6 month followup.  That morning my shower broke and I couldn't shower, I figured it would be ok b/c my mole was on my ankle....they don't get dirty and grose.  Well my dr. checked EVERYWHERE I HAD SKIN.......OMG the horror.

Every 3 months!  You just call a dermatologist and make an appointment for a mole check.  You will go in.  Strip down to your bra and underware and put on a robe.  They will check you over one extremity at a time.  It's not that bad really.  A little nerve racking at first.  FYI dermatologists in this area can be a long wait to get into 3+ months.  I have a great one if you need a rec though.

Yes, probably the most embarrassing moment of my life. I was three months PP with DD#1, and went for the check, Stood there stark naked in all my PP glory, and the derm asked me to lift my breasts. Yup, I squirted him. I cringe writing this, it was awful!
