Your list is a good one. Corn syrup in their formula/milk/juice also helps. DD2 has never had that problem. Hers is always the opposite (so much that we limit fruits for her).
All of the above is good. I also eliminated things that back him up.
We've quit rice cereal in favor or oatmeal or barley. We cut out bananas and carrots when he's backed up (and only do those sparingly at other times to help prevent constipation).

I feed BG 1/3 a jar of prunes every night with dinner. I have also switched from rice cereal to oatmeal since rice makes it worse. I also avoid bananas and sometimes apples for the same reason. What else.... oh I give her water with every meal and that helps too.?
As you can tell she has had this issue quite a bit!
DD has a huge constipation issue, and we've tried it all. I BF (but only once a day), and when I switched to probiotic yogurt (activia) she became very regular!! I even ran out over a weekend, and she became constipated again, so I know that must be it. Apparently there are some probiotic supplements for infants too, so if you FF that could be an option.
Q-tip. I read on here to insert just the cotton portion of a q-tip into the anus to stimulate things. Be very gentle. It has worked every time with us. I'll do it, put on a clean diaper, put her in her excersaucer and not too long later we have a diaper.
Re: constipated baby-what do i do??

1/2 tsp of Karo Syrup to 2 oz Water

This is not the fun way to do it. But take her temperature rectally, for some reason this open things up.
My daughters had gotten to a point where she hadn't popped for 5 days, we took her the doctor and she gave me the above pointers.
Probiotics!
