Pies on our doorstep last night

So we live across the street from a really popular "fun" restaurant/bbq place and casually know the owners because they also live on the street and we run into them walking the dog/baby.  Anyways, they sell pies this time of year and when we got home last night there were 3 pies (sweet potato, pecan and apple) on our doorstep from the restaurant.  Looking down the street, they had put pies on all of the neighbors doorsteps too!  I just thought it was such a nice gesture and really embraced the holiday spirit.
