XP: re drugs to control contractions

I have a doc appt this AM.  My doc has decided I should stay on Terb though I had the cerclage out on Monday and am over 36 wks.  I'll discuss why at the appt....but I have never heard of staying on Terb or other ctrx controlling drug after 36 wks.  Actually one nestie said she was on it til 37 wks, but other than that...no one.

Anyone on a drug beyond 36 wks? 

Oh, and I'm on it around the clock...it's been 6 weeks of waking up to my med alarm in the middle of the night...I'm pooped!

I think I was on procardia until 37 weeks.

I was off the drugs at 34w before the cerclage came out.  Granted, I went into labor the next night (stalled) then the cerclage HAD to come out, but I still went to term (induced at 38w1d)  I was on Procardia and had a reallly rough time with it though, to the point we dropped my dosage, but then I took an extra pill if I started with contractions.

I feel your pain with the round the clock meds...now I just look at it as practice for whn my daughter was a newborn

My doctor gave it to me from 35-37 weeks with DS. He wanted his lungs  to be completely ready.
