We live on a dirt road and had about 3inches of snow yesterday. The road was grated (but not very well) and I was only going about 15 mpr. I had dh's car (pontiac grand am gt) and hit a very slippery patch, did a 180 and landed with my back end in a pile of snow. (thank God no one was coming). The car is so low that I could not get out. Of course it was the ONLY part of the road that did not have cell phone service. A nice women stopped and together we used our ice scrapers to scrape out all the snow around the tires and then she pushed the car while I drove it out. It worked! Thank God! It was scary, yet exciting doing a 180 in the middle of the road. I'm just thankful I didn't hit a tree!
Re: I spun out on our road last night!
thats so scary when that happens...glad you are ok.
Grand Am's are nortoriously horrible in the snow which is why we got rid of ours.
Scary! Glad to hear you are ok!
And so the bad driving season begins...
That is so scary!!
?
We both got new cars since last winter, and I am anxious to see how they'll do in the snow.?
Glad you're okay!?
