Poll: Marriage happiness

We did this at lunch at work today and it was interesting to hear everyone's answers.  The question is, how happy are you in your marriage on a scale of percentage 0-100%.  I said 80% of the time I'm happy in my marriage and I was one of the lowest!  I think some people were lying.  So be honest and rate your marriage happiness!

I would also say 80% of the time.  I think that's pretty good!

Depends on the day. Sometimes it's 50% and sometimes it's 90%. I'll split the difference and say 70% on average. More when he does the dishes, less when he rolls over and goes to sleep instead of helping with DD. )

My marriage is really happy. We have our bumps, but I'd say 90% of the time we're happy.

I'd honestly have to say around 90% of the time. He is a VERY good hubby and even better daddy, I honestly couldn't have done any better. I can't think of the last time we fought, which we do, but really all in all I am blessed to have such a great marriage.

I'd say 85% of the time we're happy. ?I'm a terrible housewife so this causes stress since I'm SAHM?but he thinks I'm a great mom. ?He works 6-7 days a week so we rarely see each other. ?Aside from these things, he's a wonderful hubby and Daddy and he really is my soul mate. ?Now if I could just get the cleaning thing down. ?

97% Not to sound like a gloaty McGloaterson but there are only minor annoyances that I would change about our marriage.

I'd say about 90% of the time.  When I'm feeling annoyed with DH, it's generally due to lack of sleep, so when I'm rested, all is well again!  We've gotten a lot better at communicating recently, which helps a ton.

I would say I am 100% happy in my marriage. There are things I wish he would do more of but I dont think it effects my happiness in our marriage. Like I wish he would finish our master bathroom shower so I can have my bathroom back but I don't hold it against him that he has not made it a priority.

I'm in the 95% range, myself. Not to brag, but my DH is pretty much the best ever. Nanna Nanna poo poo.

Seriously though? I can't imagine being much happier. My DH and I have maybe one true fight per year, and even then its a couple hours of being flabergasted that he doens't understand me, then realizing I wasn't really understanding him either, then laughing about it.

Honestly?  About 90%.  I can kinda be a biotch, and he has selective hearing.  Those are the two biggest obstacles that get in the way of us being 100% happy.

I would say 95%. Before DD we were at 100% (seriously!). I think DH and I were made for each other We're very lucky.

98%. We are incredibly happy together. It really was love at first sight. However I had to deduct 2 points for him not remembering to turn on the garbage disposal and for not understanding how to properly wring out a sponge....

I'd say 75-80%.  We both still have some things to work on and ways we can grow.

I would say 80-85 %.  I think we just have some personality traits that don't always mesh well so we sometimes annoy each other and bump heads...plus we are both stubborn and I can cope an attitude sometimes and he doesn't take to that very well.  So I would say we are about 50/50 to blame for the missing %.

However, I'd rate my overall happiness with my life at about 80-85% because I've got some things to work on that would improve my happiness tha thave nothing to do with my marriage.

Wow, a lot of you ladies are quite lucky.  I guess right now I wouldn't say anything over 70%-  we've both said in the past week that we aren't happy with how things are right now.  I'm snapping at him, I'm a b*tch to be honest lately, and we're fighting about IL stuff that is so stupid but seems to keep lingering. Plus DD hasn't been sleeping through the night, DH has been sick and takes Nyquil to sleep otherwise he's up coughing all night which keeps me up, so he's no help at night. And, I've been sick on and off.  It's just been a rough bit.  Before that, I'd say 90%.

That doesn't mean we haven't been through it.  I've had chapters in our marriage that I would've said 5%.

I'd say 90-95%. We have our little issues and bicker but for the most part it is great.

I'd say 80-85% most of the time. We NEVER fight but the minor annoyances build up and our sex life sucks because I have no sex drive...ever. So that tension builds up, too.
