Or not?
I work at home so we have one bedroom as my office/playroom (where all toys are) where the kids play during the day while I work. At night my 2 1/2 yr old sleeps in the play room on a twin matress and my 18month old sleeps in her crib in the nursery where their clothes and changing stuff is. I was thinking soon of converting the crib to a full size bed and putting both of them in one "bedroom" in the same bed for sleeping. My 2 yr old has horrible sleep habits (watching tv before bed and stays up late with me since I am up working) and thought that giving them their own bedroom just for sleep will help us have a better bedtime routine. (my 18mo old has no sleep problems, I put her in bed at 8:30-9pm and she puts herself to sleep.) Thinking of doing this for her 3rd birthday coming up early Feb.
My worries, my 18 month old is a restless sleeper and won't sleep when she isn't confined in the crib anymore. AND that they will wake each other up if they wake up early or during the night. They are very close and often Gaby wants her little sister to sleep in her bed.
Any thoughts?
Re: Toddlers sharing a bed...Good Idea?
I'm interested to hear the replies b/c I plan to have my girls share a bed eventually.
