If you have converted crib to toddler bed

So ds climbed out of his crib the last two days so I want to convert it to a toddler bed.  I know we bought the extra hardware for converting it to a full size but not sure about the toddler.  Of course I don't have the directions so before I go searching through our storage I thought I would ask my nesties.  Did you need extra hardware when converting to the toddler bed?  If so was it just screws or actual parts?  Off to google - tia

We converted DDs crib to a toddler bed.  It came with the hardware to do that (screws and actual part).  There was additional hardware to buy to convert to an adult bed.

Ours has a partial bed rail to keep kids from rolling out and to stabilize the bed. It included extra bolts for that. Otherwise there was nothing extra needed.
