Last week I had my first appointment to explore potential infertility issues, as it had been more than 120 days since I went off the pill, and not a single period. Met with my Dr., and she ordered a bunch of bloodwork, a sonogram and a follow-up appointment the first week of Dec.
DH and I just wanted to get the ball rolling, in case there were issues. I had really given up hope of getting pregnant this year.
So this past weekend (less than a week after the appointment, and I'm still waiting on the bloodwork results) I'm feeling tired and nauseous. Odd for me, since I have a stomach of steel. So I brushed it off, thinking I was hungry or maybe a little hungover from Friday night. Same deal yesterday, and I woke up in the middle of the night last night with nausea.
So I take a PT this morning, and holy sh!t, two lines. DH and I are totally in shock, and now we're waiting on a call back from my Dr. with news from the bloodwork. When I called the Dr's office first thing this morning and told the receptionist what was going on, she said "yup, that's usually how it goes. You come in here for tests, then it happens."
We're trying not to get excited yet, but the at home tests are rarely known to give false positites, right?
OMG, I'm not sure how I'm going to get through the rest of the day, maybe the week.
