Hey - have you ever seen those Christmas candy countdown things with the bell?  It's a long strip of felt with 24 ties on it.  You tie a piece of candy on each & it has a bell at the very bottom.

My mom had one of these for each, my brother and I growing up & I LOVED it!  Basically, you eat a piece of candy (my mom used those taffy-like things with the Christmas tree in the center) every night from Dec 1 til Christmas Eve & then you get to ring the bell to summons Santa.

Just thinking of it makes me warm & fuzzy.  Good memory.

    Thats cute. ?That made me remember we have an advent calendar that we'll use this year--its re-usable, I think its made out of felt or something. ?I'll have to pull that one out soon. ??
