Sophia's first night in the crib....

went fantastic (for her at least!).  She's been sleeping in the bassinet by my side of the bed for her first 4 months.  Well, yesterday she turned 4 months and I said to DH - we need to quit talking about moving her into the nursery and just do it.  I was the one who was holding back.  So I put her to sleep in the nursery and she slept from about 7:30 pm to 6 am!  I didn't sleep very well because I kept listening for any noises on the monitor, BUT I did not get up to get on her- which is a big step for me! I did, however, cry a little bit when I came downstairs after putting her to sleep last night.  It's a big step and it means she's growing up - I'm not sure I'm quite ready for that!!!

    That should read, I did not get up to CHECK on her.....lol

    Congratultions I know it is a big step.  You did wonderful Sophia, you are such a beautiful girl, lets hope mommy gets more sleep tonight.

    That's great that it went so smoothly for her! I think these milestones are probably more tough on the parents. How quickly they grow! I hope you're able to rest easier tonight.

    congrats! ?eli was 4 months as well when i put him in the crib. ?i was a wreck but he was fine! ?i think i got up and checked him like every hour...he was fine! i still get up like 2-3 times once i get into bed to check him and hes 10 months old. ?its all good though. good luck!

    Thats great for both of you. You for finally making the leap and great for sophia for STTN in her own crib.  In a couple of days you will be so happy shes in her crib and you have fyour room to yoruself again :)

    Great job!  I just made the transition with Madeleine, too, this past week.  Unfortunately, we are not seeing the great results you are.  She's been sleeping like c-rap!
