LP question

Is it still considered a LP defect if you spot ( light brown) a few days but still have a LP longer than 10 days ( usually 11-13)?

I was wondering this too...  From what I read it seemed like the spotting/temp dropping before 10 dpo would be bad since it means you don't have enough prog. to maintain the lining.  I could be wrong on that though.
