DH and I have decided to start TTC in the New Year.  I'm very excited and terribly nervous all at the same time.  Him on the other hand, not so much.  I feel like he just doesn't get it, like he's not at all connected or involved.  Has anyone else gone through this?  I just kind of feel alone

Men don't show their feelings like women do.  DH didn't really wanna "talk" about it either.  It's okay...he'll get more excited as time goes on!  Guys don't really get emotionally attached to something that's not there yet normally.  Give him time!  He'll get more excited!

It's just weird.  He's my best friend and we've never been in such different places on such a big decision before.  I've been charting and the morning I saw my BBT spike I yelled to him that I was O'ing and just looked at me like I was an alien.  Kind of funny, but frustrating too...

My DH doesn't know what any of it means either.  He always says, "so is that good?" when I tell him my temp spiked.  Haha.  I know it's difficult when guys don't show their emotions but they're just "wired" differently.  He'll get excited when you get your BFP if not before!
