Someone please reiterate to me that cleaning my apartment is more important than lounging around and/or working on knitting my scarf for my best friend. Cleaning will make me a better wife, right??

I usually feel a sense of accomplishment after a good house cleaning.  But my DH always says, what are you cleaning for no one is coming over...

No one ever visits us! Maybe I'll just clean the bathroom and call it an accomplishment.

I cleaned my bathroom, wiped off the counters in the kitchen, and put a lot of old bill statements etc in the filing cabinet we just bought. I think I am going to go to Hobby Lobby now and find some fabric to make a new purse.

Excellent compromise.  I have become an expert at cleaning just enough to make it look clean without expending too much effort. And I am also avoiding cleaning right now.  Trying to decide if a nap will make me more productive once I get up.
