Another reason I love my job...

So I'm a supervisor for a retail store. We have lots of things that have a "restocking fee" if opened to keep people from borrowing them for the weekend. Today, I had a customer try to return a camera opened, and he clearly cut through the 15%restocking fee sticker that is over the flap.

I informed this lovely customer that I would have to charge him the restocking fee. He started SCREAMING at me to the point where I asked him to leave or the police would be called to escort him out. He then proceeded to bad mouth me and ended with "Fvck off, and burn in hell you biznach".

At this point, other supevisors came up, and escorted this kind man out the door. The best part. He was in his 40's, and had is 90 year old mother with him. When he left, he left HER standing there to deal with the return! Even better, he came back in to get her, as my DH (who is also a supevisor/manager) came in the door. I was in tears, told him what was going on, and then he chewed his ass on the conduct. To talk to any woman like that was unnecessary. The customer wanted to appologize, but DH informed the customer that he would not be coming back to this store.

The plus of working side by side with your DH!!

Sorry you had to go through all that. The guy got what he deserved. Not really. A nice swift kick in the balls should do it. lol

What a jackass!  Happy holidays to that sorry schmuck.  Retail just brings out the best in people...sorry he was such an idiot.  I guess you can take comfort in that he probably lives with his mother in her basement somewhere and doesn't get a lot of human interaction!

Unfortunately, parents get that way, too, with teachers and administrators. People are lovely sometimes, aren't they?
