Don't be fooled though, it can happen in places that you don't realize--like your vag.  Ever heard of lightening crotch?  That can be traced to RLP too.

The stabbing pain is totally correct but I also get like a tightness under my belly off to one side usually (where the ligament is) It's like a muscle cramp almost.  It makes me want to just stop and sit down and catch my breath.  It really sucks!

Mine felt like I pulled a major muscle in my oblique area--and I'd get the worst pain when I'd try to roll over and/or get out of bed.  The pain would stop me dead in my tracks.

For me it hurts like hell in my crotch and on in the area where my inner thigh meets my pelvic area.  A lot of the time it feels like "Lightning Crotch" as other pg ladies describe in late 2nd tri/3rd tri.

I just read that at this time our ligaments are growing and stretching so we should feel more RLP.

Thanks, ladies.  Based on your descriptions, I'm pretty sure I had it yesterday for the first time.  I got up from a chair and had to grab the wall with a shooting pain on my left side.  It passed after a few seconds, but it hurt like a sonofabitch.

Yeah...it feels like a knife. I haven't had that lightening crotch yet...sounds thrilling.
