Recommend your top of the stairs gate...

I'm having a very difficult time finding a safety gate for the top of our stairs. I've bought several different kinds, but always end up returning them because they won't fit over the baseboard moldings. We don't have anything extravagant, but none of the gates fit over them! If anyone else has had this problem, please recommend your safety gate! TIA!
