Babies on the Brain

****TTC Prayer Group****

Hi everyone, The TTC Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join we will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! Feel free to search under TTC prayer group and check in at whatever time of day.

If you have any concerns, special prayer requests, or need to reach us outside of the nest email us at suzannesteward69@yahoo.com or jplotz22@gmail.com If you want to join the group and be linked up with a prayer partner please provide the following info: your name, if you choose, your age, if you are TTC baby number 1, 2, etc, and how long you've been trying. I'll assign you a partner the following day and you can begin posting as soon as you ask to join. Thanks!

I am Suzanne, 39 years old, and my DH and I have been trying to have a baby for three years. This year we have undertaken fertility treatments and have had three IUIs, but haven't been successful yet. I am Jessica, 22 years old, and my DH and I have had T-TTC because I have PCOS. We started fertility treatments right when we found out we may have trouble getting pregnant but unfortunately none have worked. We will start injectables after the New Year!

For this week, November 17-21, Suzanne will be posting 8:00-10:a.m. M-F Eastern time. During November 24-28, Jess will be posting 11:30-12:30 M-F Central Standard time. Jess, thanks so much for posting November 24-28! Suzanne will be out of town visiting her in-laws during that week.

Praise:

Borst-Plotz: She is going to ovulate with the help of Femara! This is the first time she?s ovulated since she and her DH have been TTC! Her follicle was a size 21 and the tech said that she should ovulate today or tomorrow. Then she will have a blood test next week and a beta in 14 days.

Julybride07: She has her BFP!!! Congratulations Julybride07!!!! We?re very happy for you!!! Also, Julybride 07?s follow-up appointment with her surgeon went well.

Jen81404: She finished her major to-do-list before her baby?s arrival and her sister is doing well with her diet changes for her metabolic syndrome.

Buttercup16: Her side isn?t hurting quite as bad and her stomach feels back to normal.

Special Prayer Requests:

Julybride 07: Please pray that everything is okay with her and her baby! She has slowly been losing her symptoms over the past couple of days and yesterday afternoon (November 19) she noticed some brown spotting. Please, please pray that everything is fine with both her and the baby! She doesn?t have a doctor?s appointment until December 1.

Borst-Plotz: Please pray that she ovulates and she and her DH get their BFP this cycle!

Jen81404: Please pray that her labor and delivery goes well. She?s almost there!

Zan: She and her DH will find out the results of their fourth IUI on November 21 ? please pray for a BFP! Also, she and her DH met with her doctor and found out their insurance only covers 6 IUIs and 3 IVFs; they don't know what they will do after their insurance stops paying but will meet with their doctor in December to discuss that if they don?t get their BFP this time. Also, please pray that her former neighbors who were involved in drugs will not move back from Texas to her neighborhood in Maryland.

Buttercup16: She left work early yesterday and headed to the doctor?s because the pain got worse and moved lower in her abdomen. The doctors did some blood work to see if it might be an infection or her appendix but her blood work came back normal. They scheduled her for an ultrasound on Friday to see if it is a cyst causing the pain. Please pray that her pain subsides and that this gets resolves soon. Also, she has an appointment on November 25 with a RE regarding TTC. Please keep her and her DH in your prayers as they enter this phase of TTC.

Bubblybobble: She had another appointment with her midwife on Friday (10/31), please pray that the midwife can make sense of her files and help her to get her BFP!

Angelgee: Her aunt is back in the hospital again because she has fluid in her lungs. Please keep Angelgee?s aunt in your prayers.

All ladies TTC ? please pray for continued strength, patience, and understanding as they struggle each cycle. Provide them comfort when AF arrives or they see a BFN on the test stick.

Reflection for the day:  Psalm 34:4: I sought the Lord?s help; he answered me and set me free from all my fears.

Question of the day: What are your plans for Thanksgiving? My DH and I are going to visit his family in North Carolina.

  • QOTD: We are hosting Thanksgiving for the first time at our house! I am so excited a little nervous cuz I know that there is a ton of stuff to do! But it should be fun!

Thanks for all of the prayers ladies, I need it! I am just so scared, I don't know what to think... I called my OB but they haven't called back yet! Hopefully they will call back soon!

  • QOTD: Our plans are somewhat up in the air pending the baby's arrival. Currently, we're planning to go to the IL's for dinner.

Julybride, I hope you can get some answers and the spotting stops. Some spotting is normal so don't get too panicked yet (trust me, I know this is easier said than done). I had heavy, red bleeding multiple times in the first trimester and our daughter is still with us!

Borst-Plotz, hang in there! I actually ovulated later on the femera so you may still have a chance! Don't give up just yet!!

I have my appointment this afternoon. We'll know how things are progressing.

  • Good Morning!!
    QOTD:
We do Thanksgiving at the MIL's every year. It's going to be more quiet this year though. However, I look forward to the day where we can host. I'd rather cook and clean than run all over PA all day!

July-Bride, I am praying for you. It can be completely normal to "lose" symptoms. When I was pregnant with DS there were days I had none at all, sometimes it would be a few days in a row. And spotting can be normal too. Don't get too stressed out just yet. Keep us posted.

  • QOTD: We alway go to the IL's house, but they moved back to Italy. This year we will be at one of my SIL's house on Thanksgiving. Then the day after we usually go to another family member's house from hubby's side for lunch. My family doesn't do anything big anymore since my grandmother's passing. Once in a blue moon someone will have Thanksgiving dinner.

JulyBride - With my previous pregnancies I spotted early in my 1st tri and beginning of 2nd tri. Keep calling the dr so you can go in to make sure everything is alright with your baby. I have also heard that symptoms do come and go. I will keep you and your baby in my prayers.

Buttercup16 - I hope your feeling better. Good luck on your u/s tomorrow.

Zan -  Good luck tomorrow. I hope your get great news.

Lots of thoughts for everyone!! Thanks

  • QOTD: We're going to my parents' house for Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the well wishes.  My side isn't hurting as bad now.  I'll update when I find out the results of the u/s.

Julybride, hang in there.  I'm sure it's hard not to worry.  I hope you can see the doctor soon and get some good news.

Borst-Plotz, I'm still hoping the Femara does the trick for you this cycle.

    You're all in my prayers.

  • QOTD: Me, my husband , my mother in law, sister in law and brother in law are all going to my mom and stepdad's house. It is the 2nd time since I have been with my husband that we have all gotten together for a holiday! It will probably be fun and stressful

    Everyone is in my prayers
