It was another forum that was started by a few nesties. By invitation only, from what I gathered. AlterNest, I believe. It wasn't mentioned much over here because it was an exclusive thing. (I've seen the quote "The first rule of AN is to not talk about AN") I had a link to it and tried to sign up, but never got in. Eh, oh well. I don't think it's around anymore since all of this drama took place.

I don't know any of the details, but there was a private board that a lot of the ladies also chatted on.  It was an invite-only type of board.

FWIW, many of those women are not drama queens.  They were leaving for valid reasons... and they posted on BOTB because there are many of you (who are not involved in the drama) who they care about and they wanted you to be aware that they are leaving... at least for a while.

I'm not judging at all...and maybe my use of the word drama queens was out of line. I'm sure they had their reasons...but I also know that's what has caused all the curiosity and all the angst over it today.  Had they never said goodbye this would have died on the vine.  Then they could have come back when they were ready.
