seriously. No wonder I'm not getting any better! This room in this old decrepit school is KILLING ME. My heater is on full blast when I get here in the morning. It's WAY too hot so I turn it from "high" to "low" (great choices in setting let me tell you).
About 30 min after I turned it onto "Low" it starts blowing COLD AIR.
::enter janitor to fix it::
Now it's blazing hot again so I just turned it off and opened the window.
Plus my heat at home is broken.
LOVELY.

I have never understood why it has to be so difficult for teachers to regulate temperature in their classrooms. We have to call someone at the county office to have the temp adjusted here.
This is one thing that makes me love teaching in a mobile. I have my very own central heating and air unit.
My other school is fairly new and I have the control in my room so I can change it when necessary. This is torture.
one word: layering!
My office sucks like that, too.
that sucks...
My lab in a unversity setting is that way. Makes it hard to do temp sensitive experiments as well as wanting to wear a lab coat.
