Ahhh...the old twin skin. No not everyone gets it but more get it than don't. Part of the problem is when your abdominal wall seperates. Another issue is your skin over stretching and causing wierd wrinkle things that can't be described (not strech marks).
A coworker says she has it and had two singleton pregancies. She showed me her belly for some reason or another and I don't see it. My mom does but she had put on weight after having me and my brother and my brother was a long linky baby, still is at 25.
Ditto Ky... I got wicked bad twin skin. It's like a wrinkly numb thing hanging at the bottom of my pudge. And the abdominal seperation isn't totally fixable, depending on the degree of seperation. Once those muscles tear/ stretch out, they can't really go back. My belly is still popped out pretty badly 15m PP.
I have just a touch of the twin skin thing...it's only really noticeable if I bend at the waist & my stomach scrunches up. ?Then you can see the weird little wrinkle-puckering. ?I still have quite a bit of pooch though. ?I HATE it too b/c I always used to have such a tight flat stomach. ?I have PIB of my belly 1w & 2w pp...sadly I still pretty much look like the 2w pp picture.
I definitely have an icky flabby belly but my OB still hasn't given me the ok for exercise yet... so I'm hoping once I start doing some real workouts it will go down a ltitle... I'm hoping

People have been telling me about the "twin belly" Does everyone who has twins get it? Do singleton moms get stuck with the extra skin too?
Some singleton moms get it, some don't...like twins, I suppose. I have 2 single's (3 1/2 yrs and 17 mos). Let me tell ya - "it ain't purty." I have skin that comes over the top when I do my pants, and seem to have (at least to my eyes), the...."perpetually just showing pregnant look" if you know what I mean. I call my belly "the boys" in honor of my babies.

I have just a bit of both.
doubt it. She probably had CS with a side of tummy tuck!
I have it and I'm not happy about it because I used to have a nice flat tummy pp too. Oh well, I have some beautiful girls as a parting gift.
