  • Go to the food networks site and look up Paula Deen's recipes.  She's got all of those, and they're awesome.

They have a TON of recipes and it's great because you can read the reviews and most have suggestions to tweak the recipes to your liking.

  • Here is my mom's E Z Cobbler recipe:

    1 cup self rising flour

    1 stick butter

    1 cup sugar

    1 cup milk

    1 1/2 cup fruit

Mix flour, sugar & milk together. Melt butter in 2 QT casserole dish (I just use a 8x8) in oven preheated to 425. Heat fruit in saucepan on top of stove. When butter is melted pour butter in and top with hot fruit. Bake 20 mins.

YUM. It's really cool because the flour mix bakes over the fruit and leaves a really yummy buttery crust with fruit and butter in the center. DELISH!!!

  • I have an apple crisp recipe that is really really good, and really easy to make... I think it makes about 12 servings.

    APPLE CRISP

Slice 5-6 apples into greased 9 x 13 baking dish.

    Mix:

    1 c. flour

    1 c. sugar

    1 tsp baking bowder

    3/4 tsp salt

    1/2 tsp cinnamon

    Add:

    1/3 c. melted butter

    1 egg

Mix with a fork. Spread on apples (I usually end up rolling/pounding it out so it's a thin layer over the apples).

Bake at 375 for 40-45 min.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

  • Forgot to mention, you can use any kind of fruit. My mom uses the kind in a can that you get in the baking aisle. Cherry, Blueberry, Apple... they are ALL good!!
