One more thing about the Britax.  It does take up ALOT of room while it is rear facing, I had to push the passenger side seat forward in my Camry.  But once it is forward facing you have plenty of room.

oooo, that's not good.  i have a mazda3.  it doesn't have the most spacious backseat.  it's a real pita when someone has been in the front passenger seat and i go to put porter's seat in the back.  it doesn't fit unless the seat is push up, and i always forget to push it up before trying to put porter's seat in.  this is the one i'm almost certain on (ask.com rates it #2, just above the marathon, but below the boulevard):

i'm going this weekend to bru to see how it fits in my car.  i'll also be seeing how the britaxes fits.  if the britax marathon fits, i'm going to be miffed at dh.  happy mothers had them on sale for $180 a week or so ago.  i've been watching it, and it has slowly creeped up to $220.  his response to the $180 price tag: "there will always be great deals out there, and we can just put him in disposible diapers when we need to take him somewhere."  omg, i'm getting angry just typing this.

so which britax do you have, may i ask?

I have the marathon. It will only be rear facing for a short time in it's lfe, once P is a year old and the right weight you can flip that biatch around.
