XP: Eden Park Peds or other Lancaster recs?

I know I just posted this a few weeks ago, but I can't find the postTongue Tied I'm on the hunt for a new office in Lancaster for Amelia. I need to get her in for her 18month appt and a flu shot soon and there are only a few that I'm finding that will take our current insurance and what our new insurance will be and I'd rather go to just one office and not have to switch in two months. I think I remember that a few people take their kids there and had good things to say, but I can't remember now??

ETA: Also adding Roseville Pediatrics - I feel like that might be the one that a few people said they go to and like:)

  • I replied on the other board but i'll post again here. ?We go to Beittel-Becker Pediatrics. ?I really like it and I have no complaints. ?its a smaller practice with 3 female doctors and 2 male PAs. ?We mostly see the PAs for Eli. ?They are really good about getting back to you when you call with questions and also quick to get you in if you need an appointment. ?Here is the number 717-299-8933. ?Did you find an OB in the area? ?If you did not, I can recommend mine!

  • Oh, and I think Eden park was recommended to me. ?I think its like 5 female docs? ?I chose Beittel-Becker because of the male PAs for Eli's sake when he is older, and also, its like right by my OB and family doc as well. ?They are right off Rohrstown road near the new stauffers, which is an amazing grocery store by the way! ?Welcome back to Lancaster!

I did - thanks so so much for asking and checking, though - I really appreciate that:) I'm going to the midwives at Birth Care and Family Services in Quarryville and had my first appt last week and I am so so so happy with them!!

Lol- my ILs live near there and are OBSESSED with it. HOLY prices, though on some stuff!! $16.99 for Seventh Generation disposable diapers?!?! I almost fell over! It's a beautiful store and I loved seeing such a great variety of "special" kind of stuff - I'm such a dork, but I know I could probably walk around in there looking at everything for a really long time!

    ?

The first time I went in there, I was like, wow, this rocks, and I was so excited I too felt like a big dork. ?I even talked to like every sales person and was like, wow, you have a?Mediterranean?olive bar!?

  • We use Eden Park, and are pretty happy there.  There's only 1 doctor so far that I don't really care for, the rest are very nice.  And most of the nurses I like as well.  Everytime I call them on the phone with quesitons they have been very helpful (and patient!)  And I liked that I could schedule appointments at their other office in Brownstown, that makes it a little closer for us.

I think my SIL takes her kids to Roseville, I will ask her about that and how she likes them.

    Welcome back to Lancaster!!

  • We take Natalie to Eden Park and overall, love it!  They have been great with her and like posted above, always patient with phone calls and questions.  The only thing I don't like is the location since I live in Willow Street and going through lancaster city can be a pain but I hate to switch since she does so well with them!
