Baby has been super quiet for a few days. I am feeling kicks but not a ton like usual and they don't seem as strong. Usually she wakes up in the mornign when the alarm goes off and she didn't this morning. last kick was at like 3:30 this morning. I am drinking choc milk right now and hoping that it jump starts her this morning. I am really concerned though. Most likely she is just in a comfy spot but at what point do I call the doctor?
Re: I don't know if I should call the doctor
Better safe than sorry.
Did your doctor give you a kick count? I was told if I was worried to lay on my left side, drink something cold, and wait. If I didn't feel 10 kicks in an hour, I was to call.
Of course, if you're at work or something, laying on your side might be prohibitive. But I'm sure your doc would be happy to see you if it would ease your mind!
I'd say she's probably in a spot you can't feel her as well and/or is just having a few quiet days. Last week it seemed my baby was pretty quiet almost everyday.. When we had my u/s.. we could see her moving on there but I couldn't really feel most of the movements I could see still. The tech said she was facing toward my back.. So I guess we still don't feel all of their movements this early..
Yesterday, however, the kid wouldn't sit still. i don't think she she "slept" all day..

Hey katie
Ditto Steve. But I will say that Abby has been really quiet the past few days and them bam-o! she starts moving all around so much my stomache moves all over! Abby really isnt on a schedule so maybe baby LM is trying to work her's out too?
Do you have a dopplar? I dont think you do, but if you do that's a great way to get alittle piece of mind.
I had the same thing happen to me around 24 wks. and wasn't sure if I should call. When I finally did they made me come in and did an u/s and had me sit for 20 mins. so they could monitor her heart. The second the u/s started I could see her moving all around I just couldn't feel her. I was embarrassed to call but they were so nice about it that I am glad I did. I say call it can't hurt.
