I've been with this doctor for 23 years and have a *huge* medical file, meaning I know him well.  I get these awful sinus infections every 3-4 months so I called his nurse today asking for an antibiodic since I am an expert on my symptoms and the result every time I have gone in for the same thing.

Anyway i get a call and yes, he was willing to call it in for me.  YAY, no coordinating childcare and a long dr visit just to be told I have a bacterial infection like I already know.

I get sinus infections 3-4 times a year, too.

I used to have a doc that would do that for me. I adored him.

I don't have a dr for myself (other than the ob/gyn) but I LOVE when the boys' pedi does that.

That is good. Such a pain to have to go into the office for something minor.   I did the same thing 2 weeks ago for a sinus infection.  Unfortunetely, the antibiotic didn't clear it up and I had to go in to get checked.  Dr. put me on a second round of anitbiotics.  I finished those and still have the sinus infection.  I don't know what else to do, but am so sick of this!  The meds. definetely helped relieve it, but it isn't completely gone.  This is the worst sinus infection I have ever had.
