sent M to daycare in heels...

What a morning. M was up from 3-4 a.m. - no reason, just up and wanting to play, have breakfast, etc. MH worked an overnight, so I had to take her to daycare, which meant she had to get up 1.5 hrs earlier than normal - talk about crabby!

Of course she did not want to get up and was pissed about that, then she was set on wearing her pink shoes. My luck they are in MH's car. So after a major meltdown about that I said go pick your own shoes. She brings me her dress up heels - as I look at the clock and realize I should already be 1/2 way to work I said fine. Packed some other shoes in her bag and off we went.

LOL sometimes, it's just not worth fighting with them

Some things are just not worth fighting.  She'll get sick of the heels soon enough and switch to her real shoes.
