Pregnant after a Loss

22-28 weekers come in!

How are things going?  How is the second tri treating you? Who has BH? Other things going on?

Im doing a heck of a lot better than in the first tri!  My biggest thing has been terrible backaches and the worlds worst bladder.  I cant go to a store without having to pee once or twice and I feel like I have to go all the time.  Getting up at night is so fun.  But Im thankful bc it's so much better than throwing up!

How are you guys?

  • Hey Jessica

I may have had some bh last week but still not sure if it was just the baby stretching out. Backache and bladder are my worst too (if you don't count the ongoing battle with constipation).  On top of that I still get nauseated at times.  Every second of it is worth it though when I feel kicks.

  • Hey gals!

I am feeling pretty good.  Haven't gotten the energy I was hoping for in the second tri... still tired all the time. I am getting nauseated at night still... I am still taking my zofran, I tried Sunday without it... and I felt pretty bad.  So the doc said to just keep taking it if I want to.

I love her kicks though... I feel them multiple times throughout the day... still real low though.  She is an active bugger!

  • i feel and look huge now, but i suppose it's to be expected given how freaking short i am.  i love feeling her move and kick.  she has really active days now (and unfortunately, nights too).  sleep has been my biggest issue.  i am tired all the time but interrupted sleep is really taking its toll.  my hips, pelvis, and back all ache.  but, as others have said, i will take every sleepless night and ache if it means this baby is healthy and growing.
  • Hi Ladies!  I'm feeling well!  I'm having some BH pretty frequently but baby moves a lot so that is reassuring!  Also had a great appointment yesterday and the doc used the word/phrase "text-book" on me to describe my pregnancy!  YAY!!  I have energy most days - have done a lot around the house - I'm definitely in that nesting phase.
  • Wow, are there this few of us?  I am 27 weeks today, i think, and have an u/s this morning because I am measuring 2 weeks ahead (which is bs because my dating is off, but whatever, I get to see my baby again!)  WE dont want to know the gender, but at this point, I will be looking!

I, too, have the back and bladder problems.  I probably get up like 8 times a night and it sucks.  Its getting harder and harder to sleep because of it.  The back problems make me sore, too.  I was having some side cramping last week and they told me to get a maternity belt, because it was likely due to gravity.  I thought they were full of it, but it actually works, and helps with the back pain a lot.  I dont' wear it all the time, just when I will be out and about.

And, I had my shower this past weekend, so I have TONS of baby stuff everywhere and I LOVE IT!  Hugs to you girls!

  • I had some good energy back until a few days ago :). I too get up like a million times to pee and some nights my hips hurt too. Oh and my heartburn is out of control! It is with me most of the day, and then wakes me up most of the night.

I haven't thrown up in about 3-4 wks. but I still feel "sick" sometimes. I have days where I feel her a ton and other days where I don't feel her as much. I did find out that I have an anterior placenta so that might be the issue. I had a u/s done last thur. and she is about 2lbs. 7 oz. :)

  • I am with you on the back aches! I think it's the way I've been sleeping. I'm on either side and my shoulders are constantly smooshed together so I wake up very tense.

I now feel like I have to pee every time I get up with the weight shift. Always fun :) But other than that I feel great. No BH for me (not that I can tell anyway).

Can't wait for the third tri :)

  • hey girly.. I have had BH for ever.. but they actually haven't been too bad lately..I love feeling my little girl move.. My bladder is OK.. it seems to depend on her position. I usually only get up once at night.. but some days at work I feel like i'm going every 10 minutes..

My worst problem is my gallstones.. i have to REALLY watch my diet or face excrutiating pain. I also still haven't gained much weight. I thought i would start catching up now, but since I've altered my diet, I have dropped down a few lbs again..So I'm kinda worried about that, but at the same time a little relieved.

  • Hi everyone...second tri is awesome since I am no longer exhausted and nauseous, but the peeing and sciatic pain are not so fun...at this point I am eager to reach viability since I have some placenta/cord issues...I am also driving myself nuts with nursery planning and registry stuff...lots to do!!!!

  • I noticed a lot of us are on team pink!  I am still nauseous but a bit better since I stopped PNVs and switched to gummies.  Insomnia has hit in the past two days, probably a combo of nesting stress, feeling big, and peeing.

On the flip side I'm glad I'm at the showing stage and of course the kicks are so special.  Don't think I've had BH yet *knock on wood*
