I started DD back in cloth today (after being in sposies while she got rid of her yeast rash) The first diaper I used a fleece liner with.  I changed her after and hour and a half (only pee).  Her skin looked great!  No irritation.  The 2nd one I didn't use a fleece liner (they were downstairs) and then she was in the diaper for 3 hours b/c we were out to lunch.  Her skin was red and splotchy again.  Do you think it was just that she was in the diaper too long?  I'm so paranoid about the diapers not being sterilized enough.  I washed them all with GSE, extra hot and vinegar.

I'm guessing it was just from being it the diaper longer

What kind of diapers do you use? If it's a natural fiber diaper against her skin it won't wick away moisture like the fleece will so that could be part of it too
