I am LOLing at your pumping to induce labor story. That is great! And so smart! My water broke first with no sign of contractions - I should've totally used your idea to get the contractions going!I remember my dr telling me to try the whole nipple stimulation thing, but I never thought to bust out the pump.

 

I will keep that in mind for the future.

in all honesty it was MarksGrrl that made the suggestion. She was due a week after me and had her baby ~ 2 weeks before me... I was talking to her and hearing him squeak and I said... I want my baby! She suggested pumping...

crazy thing? I actually pumped at least a 1/2 an oz. of colostrum! Had I known I would've sterelized the parts before pumping and saved it!
