Does BRU accept returns w/o receipt?

Even if the car seat is over a year old, but still in box?  Or do they make newer ones each year?  The Graco Turbo Booser

Re: Does BRU accept returns w/o receipt?

  • I believe that as of November 1st, all returns must be accompanied by a gift or regular receipt.

I think you may be out of luck, especially if the seat is that old. They do come out with new models/colors pretty often.

  • I'd call them to check.  I had to return a highchair to them because when I opened it, it had been used.  How SICK is that?  There was food and nastyshit all over it.  I didn't have a reciept either.  I exchanged it for the same thing just a different pattern.
I would call to check so you don't waste your time going there and they don't do that anymore.
  • They just changed their returns and you must have a recepit, the c.card you paid with or the print out of the registry it was on.  They can look it up by the c/card.  The return must be with in 90 days from sale.  I doubt they would take a car seat back if it was a year old even if it was in the box.  The car seats change over the years they get new covers on them.
  • Nope; you have to have the receipt. I tried to return an duplicate toy last Christmas and was flat denied. I try my best to not shop there and only buy items I can't find anywhere else, or emergency store trips.

  • If they won't take it back and it's still new in the box, would you try to sell it on Craigslist or eBay?

FWIW, my BRU/TRU suck about returns. We recieved a toy that was broken. I had the reciept and they STILL wouldn't take it back. I was absoultely livid.
