Chicago CD store?

We are taking a trip to The Chicago area this weekend and I'd love to visit a real CD store as we don't have any near me. Anyone have a recommendation?

I haven't been to either of them but I believe there are two stores on the north side of the city.

Be Bye Baby has an OK selection (in Roscoe Village, on the North Side). It's a good store in general, though - their selection of nursing bras is awesome.

And if you were coming from Wisconsin, I'd tell you to stop in at RG Natural in Racine.

I live in the Chicago suburbs, but I've never been to a decent cloth diaper store around here.

That's what I was thinking. I am NW suburbs and I would LOVE to be able to feel quality and play around with different styles before I spent money on them

Dekalb is really not all that close to Chicago (in traffic easily 90+ minutes). Your best bet is going to be something in the Western burbs. There's a place called comfy bummy diapers in Naperville - I've never heard of them, but if you're just going to see some brands in person it looks like they carry BumGenius, Bummies, and Thirsties. Not a very good selection, sorry.

Comfy Bummy just closed down their store for the next 9 months or so. :-( They'll stay online, but that doesn't really help. :-)

There's actually a cloth diaper store locates in Dekalb. It's a boutique that doesn't have regular hours, but you can contact them to set up a time, I believe. The website with contact info is expressyourselfmama.com

There's also one in South Elgin, which shouldn't be too far for you. It's called Fluff Envy. My favorite local store!

There's actually a cloth diaper store in Dekalb.  It's called Express Yourself.  As far as I know, it's a boutique type store that doesn't keep regular hours.  But you're able to send them a message and set up a time, I believe.  The website is expressyourselfmama.com

Otherwise there's a store in South Elgin called Fluff Envy.  It's my favorite local store.  They've got a great selection of diapers and accessories.

We ended up going to fluff envy because we happened to pass it. They had a nice selection and I ended up picking up two covers, two tots bots, a wet bag and some CJ's! I would definitely recommend!
