Sorry, for forgetting this.  I've been so busy.  I finally crashed and ended with IV fluids and a weekend in bed  I'm doing better, just trying to pay off our second car payment before our FET.   

 

I stole this from the old check in.... 

This group is for those of us dealing with male factor issues. We welcome everyone but mostly we are dealing with low count, motility, morphology or all three. Male infertility is a mysterious world filled with questions no one, including REs, urologists, acupuncturists or anyone else seem to have the answers to. Any treatment suggested is a coin toss for success and a 3 month wait for a fresh batch of swimmers. Most of us are told the only answer is IUI or IVF w/ICSI. The purpose of this group is to support each other through shared experiences and to share any info we can because the more informed we are the better. We have a check in every Sunday. Welcome and GL and PPVs to all!

Hi all, no change at this time. Coming off a natural IUI as we prepare for injectible IUIs later. Still working on losing the weight fertility meds and depression gave me the past year,then we'll move forward :

Clomid over the past year increased hubby count from 10 million per mil to 70 million per mil and tripled his testosterone. Woohoo!

On stims for ivf number 2! We are doing PICSI this round and I'm very excited and curious to see how it goes.

Summer is good, haven't been able to vacation at all bc of back to back fresh ivf cycles but this is my last week teaching summer school then I can take a few weeks to relax.

I am in my last few days of my tww..I am 6dp5dt and go for my beta Thursday!! I took a home test and got a bfn but I am trying to stay hopeful that this could still be our chance. Hubby had me give away all his vitamins to a friend in my support group with mfi and said he is sticking to the one IVF try rule he set. So I am praying this one shot is all we need. Especially Since we only had one embryo and none to freeze.
QotW I have been so consumed with the IVF that I haven't enjoyed a pool or anything yet. Thankful we took a preIVF trip and I am already planning a postIVF trip somewhere!!

I posted my CD 3 info. Friday we are headed to RE to get b/w results and hopefully our protocol!! It's looking like September for stims and such, but we will know more soon. I'm excited to get started.

Summer is going well sad its almost over. Back to work a week from Wednesday.

Today is day 5 of stims.  My E2 level was low so they increased my menopur to 150.  That has me a little worried.  ER should be next Monday.

 

Summer is going well.  Been in VT while doing IVF.  Staying with my parents.  I live in VA so this is my "vacation"

Well since Jan when we found out zero swimmers DH just had 90 million pre wash/65 million post wash for our IUI 8days ago.

I was in a really bad accident MDW... so not the best way to start but it's getting much better. Lots of pool and beach!

Update: Still chugging along, trying to whip my thyroid into shape. Still not getting an appointment with an endocrinologist?!?!? My TSH is "normal" now, but I'm still having issues =( Also, I'm still working on getting a new contract too, so we're really just in a holding pattern for the foreseeable future. It's pretty obvious we're not doing an IUI or IVF anytime in the next 2 cycles at least, so who knows where we stand. DH is a champ and still taking the Clomid and being as supportive as he can, while I go through all my own medical junk.

QOTW: It's been pretty darn stressful so far! We've managed to get to the beach a few times, and I've been riding my bike nearly every day, so that makes me happy! If I manage to get a contract before then, we'll head to Niagara Falls (a couple hours away) for a couple of nights for our [8th] anniversary at the end of August!

Im just waiting for my CD1 Which will most likely be on Aug 1st and then I will start Clomid for CD-3-7 150mg. I start Acupuncture on Aug 2, First time trying a traditional Chinese Acupuncturist. We have a new doner this time so I am feeling hopeful!

My summer is going good. I am not going to lie it has been nice to take a little break from fertility treatment but I am excited to get back on the bandwagon

I started Lupron yesterday for our August FET.  I got the rest of my meds taken care of today, and got a GREAT deal on the viagra suppositories.  Saved $500 from the original pharmacy quote.  SCORE!
QOTW: My summer is going ok.  I started a new job, so things have just been crazy.

I always see the MFI Check-In too late! Nothing new with us. Urology appointment follow-up on 6. August. Summer has been fabulous. I have been doing a lot of work around the house and gardening, which has helped keep my mind off IF. We live in the countryside and have a big garden with flowers everywhere, and summertime is the best time to enjoy it! Good luck with those of you with upcoming cycles!

Update: After meeting with our RE yesterday, we are moving onto IVF rather than doing injectables. With IVF we have about a 60% chance, with injectables we have only about an 8%. Injectables are half covered, but will still be about $1000-$1200... we'd rather just save that money for IVF and continue with natural cycle IUIs (only $100) until then
