Tell me about hysteroscopy....

After my first failed IVF, my RE recommends hysterscopy. My left tube is blocked so she suspects scar tissue. It's gonna be in the OR. Can you share your experience? Thank you!

Mine was done in the OR as well.  I had general anesthesia, was out less than an hour, spent an hour or so in recovery.  not too much pain, though the RE also gave me a prescription for toradol.  I took a few days off work, but probably could have gone back after 2.

Oh ok, not too bad. Was anything removed?

I had mine done in office with no sedation.  The only pain meds I took were some ibuprofen about an hour before hand.  I had some intense cramping during the procedure and some mild cramping on and off for a few days after, but overall it was easy.

Yes, a polyp and what looked like the start of a second polyp.
