I've been having them for several weeks. They were just uncomfortable, until the past few days when they have started to hurt. More a moderate than a bad pain, but I'm sure the bad pain is next. It only happens when I walk, not when I sit or lay, so I've been limiting my walking as best I can. I drink lots of water like everyone recommends, but I can't tell that it makes any difference.
Ugh, honestly I haven't felt a single BH, I don't know if I'm just lucky or oblivious. I've only had one instance of legit contractions, lasted 3 hours and then stopped. I'm 38 weeks and officially convinced this LO is going to have to be forcibly removed, he/she doesn't seem to have gotten the message that it's time to get a move on...
They don't hurt per say, but they're definitely uncomfortable. Before he dropped, he would try to stretch at the same time and stick his feet in my ribs, which made it really hard to breath. That would be the only time I would really would have considered them painful
ETA...and I've apparently jinxed myself. The last one was pretty unpleasant like all of my insides were getting squeezed. Yeouch

Most of the time, they don't hurt and are just annoying. I get them when I exercise (swimming, dancing, walks) and they just get in the way and annoy me.
However, lately at night, I've been getting them for hours and hours. They wake me up and I'm forced to get up and walk around and drink some water. Usually they get less intense, but don't stop and by the morning I feel like I've been doing sit ups for 8 hours straight. I've had a couple that have woken me up that have been really uncomfortable - borderline painful - but none that have worried me that I was in early labor.
No they don't usually hurt. More or less uncomfortable.
I did have some last night and when they were happening I had a little bit of cramping and pain in my back, but I drank some water and this eased all of it. Made the BH less intense also.
Sometimes. Mine range from mild to moderate pain when sitting, when walking it can range from moderate to intense. I barely feel anything when I'm lying flat on my side. The more upright and mobile I am, the worse it can be. I wonder if it has to do with how relaxed my body is in the first place. Seems like the more relaxed I am, the least likely it is to hurt.
Re: Do your BH hurt?
I'm sorry mocha! I saw your post earlier today....you are what got me thinking about it.
