Help for 1st tri mom to be

I'm somewhere around 6 weeks dont know for sure because of irregular cycles. Anyway the last few days I've had brown spotting and I want to know how many of you had that and everything ended up ok?

I did! And I'm in my 3rd trimester now. It happened to me once early on, and was over in a few days. After that, it never happened again, and our LO has been perfectly happy and healthy in here every since. Good luck to you!

(P.S. if it's brown, rather than bright red, that means it's older blood, and you aren't CURRENTLY bleeding, even though it didn't make it out of your system until now--so you're probably already just fine.)

I had spotting with this pregnancy in the first trimester. It lasted for 2 days. The first day was bright red and the second day it was brown. OB never did explain to me why. But everything was okay. I was about 7 weeks along at the time. Never had spotting after that. I am 35 weeks now. Everything else has gone smoothly so far.

I never had any spotting, but every woman is different. I hear light spotting in the beginning is normal though, as long as it's not red.

I had a little bit of brown discharge a couple times in 1st tri around 7 or 8 weeks or so. It wasn't much but it did make me nervous. I knew it can be normal but of course I would have preferred to see nothing. But, everything has been perfect this pregnancy with no complications at all so far. I'm 30 weeks.

I had brown spotting at 6 weeks and red spotting at 8 weeks.  We are still here and doing great.  Just try to rest and relax.

I spotted around 8 weeks. Make sure you talk to your dr about it! Anything out of the normal, talk to your doctor about it. Ya we can all say we have been there, done that. But every woman is different and so is every pregnancy. Your doctor needs to monitor you and the baby

I had absolutely no spotting of any kind with my first m/c.

 Unfortunately, you never know!!! All you can do is try your best to think positive and stay calm.

I had brown spotting at 6 weeks and then again at 16 weeks.... I obvisouly have no idea why you are having it but I remember freaking out so I wanted to send you some good hopes! I am now 36 weeks! My first spotting was a ruptured ovarian cyst and the 16 week bleeding they just assumed it was my progesterone pills I was taking vaginally. Nothing really for sure but I have always heard brown is old blood and red/pink is active bleeding so if you have any brown is ideal. Could also be implantation bleeding since you aren't sure your exact timing. Good luck!

I had some spotting for a few days around 11 weeks, and everything is totally fine now.  If you are concerned, head into your OB- it couldn't hurt and if nothing else it will put your mind at ease.

Had brown spotting with DS around 6 weeks and no others issues.  He is fine.

Had brown spotting and pick spotting really though out, but it has dropped off a lot now.  Baby is totally fine.

I had brown AND RED spotting/bleeding from 8weeks to 14 weeks every single day. For me it ended up being a subchoronic hemorrhage which eventually cleared up.

I had pinkish brown spotting around 5 to 6 weeks, and it lasted for about 5 days. I am doing fine now at 30 weeks. My dr said this was called implantation bleeding and was perfectly normal. However, like many others have said, every person is different, which is why it's always a good idea to call your dr with any concerns.

I had heavy enough spotting in the beginning that I actually mistook it for my period. Try not to let yourself worry, especially if it's brown blood because that's old blood.
