Gutter Bookshelf?

Who made the gutter bookshelves in their nursery? I cannot for the life of me remember. Anyway, I am going to try to put one in Keagan's new room this weekend, any tips or tricks? Did you use them white or spray paint them? The walls in Keagan's room are white so I'm thinking of painting them, haven't committed yet.

I love gutter bookshelves. I really like Ikea spice rack bookshelves. When we have more space, I'm totally going to spice rack up E's room.

My husband made ours.  No spray painting.  We used a link on Pinterest and he followed the instructions exactly.  No problems and it was a relatively quick and easy project.  I can share the Pinterest link we used, if you need it.

I wanted them but instead we bought pieces of crown molding for the front an just screwed pieces of wood on for the sides and bottom and mounted on the wall. They are a hit when people come over. I'll post a pic later
