What a shock!

BD owes about $375 for his half of DS's (4.5) extra curricular activities over the past year. He has been delaying paying, and over the past 3ish months I've been asking pretty frequently, and he keeps making an excuse for the next time he sees me.

Well, today he just picked up DS for the weekend, and he handed me $200! Then, as he was buckling DS in he was saying how he was actually being good about not letting money burn a hole in his pocket, and then handed me another $100! Woot!

This $300 is going straight to DS's college fund. Hopefully it will be enough for a pencil by the time he's in college ;).

Oh, and he didn't say a word about the texts, and I didn't bring them up either.
