Starting my stash kawaii fit newborn?

Hi, I bought 6 kawaii nappies online yesterday, and think I will get some GMD liners. If I get new born liners, will the covers fit a new born? They say they do, just want to double check?

Or do I need to buy 30 new born covers, for the start, then more large ones?

TIA

Ps I have 200 new born nappies that I got for free, but would to avoid using them!
