Hot Flashes when NOT cycling?

Before IF treatment, I was generally cold most of the time.  Always sleeping with multiple blankets, lived with a sweatshirt on etc.  The hot flashes stated with my first round of clomid and have varied at times, but really have never gone away since starting medicated cycles!  My body has not had IF meds since my ER the end of December (except BCP which I was on for years prior) and I still get them occasionally.  Anyone else have this happening to them?  Any chance it could be Metformin related?
