XP AF low

Dangit! One more issue to deal with. My first two fluid checks were fine at 10 and 12 respectively. Today's was 6 we took two measurements and averaged them since first measurement was 5.2. I'm waiting to meet with OB to review but its not my regular OB in fact never met her before so I'm bummed.

Anyway anyone else dealing with low AF? BTW, I'm getting fluid checks due to GD which is being controlled by insulin. Thanks ladies!

  • I had low AFI - I ended up on modified bed rest and pushing as much water as possible (100oz+, usually around 120oz). I ended up in the 4 range but was able to bring it back up but I battled with it for six weeks before my water began to leak on it's own at 38w5d. I had him the next day.

  • I don't remember how low my fluid got, but I know that I drank as much water as possible (well over 100oz) and stayed on bed rest. I had my son at 36 weeks after I went into labor naturally.

  • Thanks guys! I"m already drinking that much fluid but I plan to at least try to double it. I"m not on bedrest though have been on modified/reduced activity due to the cerclage and PTL. So... I will try to take it easy but all I see are things to do and areas of the house to organize before LO arrives!
