False labor woes! I feel so confused because I experience contractions between 15 and 20 minutes apart for several hours and then I go 2 hours without anything, and repeat.
Yep. She can stay inside as long as she pleases. My body, on the other hand, needs to be more consistent. I need to know if I can go back to work or not. :P
I know the feeling. My contractions have been picking up a lot at night and seem to die down by morning time only to return again.
It's so nice to hear from someone who is experiencing the same thing! It almost makes you feel insane. You get yourself all mentally prepared only because this is what you were told - when they are consistent, it's the real thing. Then BAM! Nada.
Well, our babes could still use the time so it's a good thing.
This is the only time in LO's life that you want them to get more baked. :]
...I really hope you get my humor there!
Glad to hear good news! Stay in there baby!
Hang in there. I've had friends who have dealt with false labor for weeks before going into labor. I'd say when the contractions are closer than 10 minutes apart it's more likely to be the real deal Being a soon to be third time mom, I've been told to head to the hospital once contractions are 10 minutes apart but first time moms can wait until they are 5 minutes apart.
I know the feeling. My contractions have been picking up a lot at night and seem to die down by morning time only to return again.
This is how it has been for me as well. Saturday evening they started and were 5-10mins apart for a little over 14 hours. I was having horrible back pain, shooting pain in my belly, and I felt super sick. They stopped being regular by the time we headed to L&D to get checked. Now they come back with a vengeance at night, keep me up, and die down.
