Follow up after interview?

I had an interview Saturday for the local athletic center that would be perfect; daycare is provided and is free, I would be working five minutes from home, vacation, uniform allowance, etc. The interviewer said to call or email if I had any other questions or anything, email is better, and that I would hear something in a couple weeks.

My question: should I send a follow up email saying thank you for your time blah blah blah to let them know I am very interested?

This is post and run, but I will check back in the morning.

I would. It's good to keep you in their mind and is polite. Besides, it might set you apart.
