So I can plan my next vacation. We took the kids to a family friendly resort in Riviera Maya last week and it was awesome. Nice place, friendly people, great food. There was some craziness, particularly with a cranky baby at mealtimes, but I figure we could have been dealing with that at home instead of somewhere tropical. I feel rejuvenated from being in the ocean, drinking a slew of mudslides at the swim-up bar and having absolutely no electronic access for 6 entire days.

I feel like I should unplug more often. For anyone debating whether to take a family vacation, I say go for it. It's not all relaxation, but it's still a ton of fun.
