The appointment went great!
Baby was moving around like crazy at first, and it was crazy to see how much it grew from 8w4d to 12w4d! It's little arm and leg buds now looked like real human arms and hands and fingers and toes, it was amazing! Heartbeat was great - 156 and sounded like galloping horses The craziest thing was the spine - it was so clear! Although we opted out of the NT, the u/s tech and the Ob both said that everything looked perfect, so as far as measurements, the baby looked super healthy and "normal", which was great to hear! As soon as the tech started trying to take pictures, our LO turned over and got shy, it was adorable - just like it's momma (I hate pictures!).
My SCH is still there, but it is still the same size, so my OB said she is not worried about it in the least and that baby looks awesome, and I am perfect and baby is perfect, so I shouldn't be worried about it at all. The only bummer is that I am still on pelvic rest until 20w, so still no sexy time with DH, and no exercising, but I have only gained about 3.5lbs (thanks to the m/s and now that I'm pooping, a major victory!), so I'm right on track with that.
My OB also said that she expects any day now that I'll wake up and not feel sick and not have any m/s! Hoping she's right about that
Without further ado, here are some pictures of our LO! The first is from 8w4d:
And this next one is from 12w4d:
